What is the Peace Research Foundation Student Association (PRF-SA)?

The Peace Research Foundation Student Association (PRF-SA) is part of the PRF; it is student organized and administered organization that serves as a supportive resource to students around the world interested in global peace and conflict resolution. PRF-SA provides an opportunity to students around the world to work together and advocate for peace and conflict resolution.

The main goal of the PRF-SA is to unite students all over the world in advocating and pursuing peace.

Our Vision

• Building a strong community and promoting long-term relationships among students interested in peace
• To disseminate a wide range of information related to peace and conflict resolution through Global Peace Survey.

Our Goals

• To be an active advocate of peace by increasing the knowledge on peace
• To provide a global forum for representation of students and advocates interested in peace and nonviolence
• To be an effective resource for students and advocates interested in global peace
• To organize workshops, conferences and forums on issues related to peace 
• To affiliate with and work together with other students’ bodies around the globe interested in peace and nonviolence
• To serve as a niche for communicating ideas, thoughts and concerns about peace and translating them into action in the global community

Our Activities

• We conduct Global Peace Survey to disseminate information among academicians, researchers, students, practitioners and anyone else interested in peace and conflict resolution.
• We issue a free monthly newsletter to raise awareness of new sources of information and events on peace and conflict resolution around the globe.
• We organize annual conferences to bring together people all over the world that are interested and willing to learn from each other as well as to share their knowledge and experience in the field of peace and conflict resolution.
• We hold online discussions on current issues and ongoing events related to peace and conflict resolution.
